Thursday, May 9th 1:30-3:30pm Introduction to Word Class covers opening and saving a word document and select functions under the Home, Page Set-Up and Insert tabs. The second half is dedicated to creating tables, formatting cells etc. By the end of the class, each student will have produced a letter and a table. Instructor: Bob Watkin, PCC Volunteer
Tuesday, May 14 10-Noon Intro to iPad Learn the basics of using the iPad such as the care and upkeep of your device, settings, and the camera. We’ll also cover a few of the useful built-in apps such as photos, calendar, reminders, and more! Instructor: Rene Austin
Wednesday, May 15th – June 26th 12-2pm The History of Rock, Part One Join us every Wednesday at Noon for 7 weeks as we learn about the early days of rock music, from the pre-rock years of the post-World War II era through the birth of rock in the mid-1950s to the psychedelic era of the late 60’s. The Public Computer Center offices are located downstairs at the Potsdam Public Library near the Neighborhood Center. If you are unsure of where to find us, please ask for directions at the front desk. They will be happy to assist you.
