Introduction to Word
Class covers opening and saving a word document and select functions under the Home, Page Set-Up and Insert tabs. The second half is dedicated to creating tables, formatting cells etc. By the end of the class, each student will have produced a letter and a table.

Intro to iPad
Learn the basics of using the iPad such as the care and upkeep of your device, settings, and the camera. We’ll also cover a few of the useful built-in apps such as photos, calendar, reminders, and more!

The History of Rock, Part One
Join us every Wednesday at Noon for 7 weeks as we learn about the early days of rock music, from the pre-rock years of the post-World War II era through the birth of rock in the mid-1950s to the psychedelic era of the late 60’s.

This class focuses on Skype basics including setup and installation for those brand new to Skype. We'll practice video calls within the class, add people to our contacts, send messages to
one another, and learn the differences between the paid versions and free versions.

Managing Your Files - 10am-Noon
This class will focus on getting you familiar with the filing cabinet that is your computer! Files, folders, organizing, where to save, and more!

Backing Up Your Files - 1pm-3pm
We've all heard the phrase "backing up your files" but are a little confused about how to back up and which option best fits our needs. This class covers all of that; whether backing up to a USB thumb drive or online storage, this class covers not only the "how" but other issues such as price and time.

Learn how to share your videos with friends, promote your business, or watch videos created by people all over the world with YouTube. In this beginners workshop, instructor Mary Simon will walk you through how to make a YouTube account, basic YouTube functions, and how to upload your own videos! You will learn how to utilize one of the most entertaining social networks on the Internet.

This class is a 5-part series in which each session is a continuation from the previous session.  The course runs for 5 consecutive weeks and covers the basics of company set up, customer invoicing, paying bills, running payroll, completing bank reconciliation, and generating reports.

Basic Computer
Class covers use of files and folders, how to create and organize files, naming and renaming files and creating shortcuts. We also examine the nature, storage and transfer of data (cut/copy and paste) and backing up data. Use of split screen to accommodate two documents side by side is also covered.

Monday – Friday – 1 hour sessions
- Exploring Computer Software
The starting point for this class is your questions and interest. This class is one-on-one with a PCC Trainer.  Stop in to see us at the PCC or call 265-7230 to schedule an appointment between 9AM and 5PM.

-Using a Mouse & other basic computer skills   
The starting point for this class is turning on the computer.  It briefly covers user name and password, icons, Google/internet, start button and turning off the computer correctly. Much of the 2 hour class time is devoted to the mouse and a chance to practice using it.
**This class is strictly one-to one with a PCC Trainer.
